(Jesus taught us what POWER we have in the Holy Ghost. Spirit-filled Christians must learn how to be a POWER. First, we must know that we, by the Spirit within us, are a POWER.)
True Power
II Tim 1:7
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Acts 1:8
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
(We must retain this as a fact and begin to walk and act like we really believe it. All our attitudes and words must show that we have this POWER. Jesus was our example.)
James 4:7
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
(Jesus gained real POWER by resisting temptation. It is not a sin to be tempted; our power comes in and then increases within us as we resist the devil and wait on God. Jesus returned after temptation in TRUE POWER.)
Luke 4:14
14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.
(You must realize and begin to acknowledge within your innermost being that you have TRUE POWER.)
Luke 4:32
32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.
Matt 10:1
1 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
(It is time we realized as Christians that we have POWER. Yes, it is ours because Jesus said He gave us POWER. POWER OVER AND AGAINST.)
(You are in the grip of one power or the other. If you have the POWER OF GOD, you have POSITIVE POWER and FAITH. No one is too meek to be a strong Christian.)
Isa 40:29
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
How Can You Be Full Of POWER?
Micah 3:8
8 But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression, and to Israel his sin.
Mark 6:7
7 And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;
(This POWER is not our own, but we can act as the Holy Ghost releases it from within us.)
Acts 3:12
12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?
Rom 1:16
16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
(When you speak to God in tongues you are renewing the inner man and thus increasing your POWER.)
(Knowing and realizing this will make you have POWER with, and confidence in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus lifted us out of defeat into the heavenliness, where we have the POWER OVER ALL THINGS!)
