Acts 2:24

Acts 13:1-2

Acts 11:27-28

(In the Old Testament, prophets were the mouthpiece for God to their generation and are still to the Holy Ghost generation today.)
Joel 2:28-32

29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

(Philip is an example of an evangelist. He turned whole cities to Christ.)
Acts 8:5-8
5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
8 And there was great joy in that city.

(Nicodemus recognized that Jesus was a great teacher from God.)

Definitions
Apostle
Strong’s Concordance, Greek: An ambassador of the gospel, a commissioner of Christ, with miraculous powers, messenger, he that is sent, to set apart, to send out on mission, send way, send forth, set at liberty.
Prophet
Dictionary: A man or woman sent of God to bring God’s message of the hour to the church. He is God’s mouthpiece for the whole body of Christ.
Evangelist
Dictionary: Brings the good news of salvation to the lost. He is the life-giver to the church, restoring the backslider and filling the pews with new converts.
Pastor
Strong’s Concordance, Hebrew: To graze, to rule, to associate with, keep company with, to tend.
Strong’s Concordance, Greek: To tend as a shepherd, supervision of a flock, group of believers, fold.
Teacher
Strong’s Concordance, Greek: An instructor, doctrine, hath been taught, master.
