(In the Old Testament, several words are used in reference to God; for example, the words Jehovah, Elijah, Emmanuel, and Joshua. Jehovah through interpretation has the same meaning as Jehoshua or Joshua. Joshua’s name means Jesus; therefore, Jesus and Jehovah mean the same thing.)
